| Clinical Research Non-surgical spinal decompression made its entrance into the medical community in the mid 1990's with the FDA clearance of the VAX-D table. Since that time, numerous published, peer-reviewed studies have been conducted on this technology. These studies have demonstrated success rates from 74% to over 86%. Recently, there was a full chapter in a minimally-invasive spine surgery textbook dedicated to VAX-D. Does the research apply to any decompression table? Even though clinics that utilize different decompression tables claim the research applies to all tables, these claims are completely false. These claims are like saying that all 4-door cars get the same gase mileage and have the same reliability. Anybody who has ever shopped for a car knows otherwise! Unless the clinic can provide the research based upon the specific table they use, the claims cannot be validated. A great question to ask is "Where is YOUR research?" Where can I find VAX-D research? Follow the link below to the VAX-D website. Here you will find all of the latest research availble on non-surgical spinal decompression and more specifically, VAX-D. Also, you can go to the National Institutes of Health "PudMed" site to view the abstracts of recent studies and articles. Links to Published Research
